Medication Technician

The primary function of this position is to partner with the nurses to provide nursing care and related services for all personal care residents in compliance with the standards and regulations that govern the facility. Med Techs administer and document medications in accordance with the PA Department of Human Services Medication Administration Training Program, state regulations and facility policies and procedures.

We currently have FULL TIME and PART TIME Med Tech

positions on ALL SHIFTS (Day/Evening/Nights).

  • Administer and document medications in accordance with regulations and policies / procedures.

  • Provide person-centered care for our residents and assist them in all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, nutritional needs, transferring, continence and oral hygiene.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Receives supervision from and reports to the Director of Resident Care Services. Also, receives day-to-day guidance and supervision from LPN Supervisors.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Proof of high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must have completed and be able to share documentation of completion of PA Department of Human Services Medication Administration Training.
