Resident Care Assistant (RCA) / All Shifts
OUR RESIDENT CARE ASSISTANT POSITION
The primary function of this position is work with the Charge Nurse to provide person-centered care for residents in compliance with all regulations and guidelines. You will be a critical member of our team, ensuring that each resident’s medical, psychosocial and spiritual needs and wishes are met on a daily basis.
We currently have FULL TIME and PART TIME Resident Care Assistant positions on ALL SHIFTS (Day/Evening/Night).
TOP AREAS OF FOCUS FOR OUR RCAs

Provide person-centered care for our residents and assist them in all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, nutritional needs, transferring, continence and oral hygiene.

Observe and engage with residents. Report changes to the nurse on duty.

Consistently use proper infection control techniques.

Complete documentation regarding resident care provided.

Maintain a professional, customer-oriented demeanor and work cooperatively with co-workers and peers.

SUPERVISION
Receives supervision from and reports to the Director of Resident Care Services.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
Proof of high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous experience working in a personal care setting is preferred, but we’re open to training the right person, if needed.
